  • Report on the first European Mission Forum (EMiF)

    The 1st European Mission Forum (EMIF) was successfully delivered on 25 January 2023 as a large online event (via Zoom) by the team of the FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency) and in collaboration with a range of TRAMI partners. It connected EU Missions stakeholders from the business sector, civil society organisations, governmental actors and the wider research and innovation community. The event provided participants with the opportunity to learn about other EU Mission actors from outside their usual networks.

  • The sixth EMiN Meeting

    The sixth meeting on EU missions and their implementation was successfully held on 21.9.

    Among other things, Alasdair Reid presented his publication on "Aligning smart specialisation with transformative innovation policy". This very interesting paper can be accessed here.

  • Interview with TRAMI coordinator Wolfgang Polt

    TRAMI coordinator Wolfgang Polt was interviewed by #science/business’ on the current state of implementation of the EU missions against the background of the first interim assessment and the experiences and observations that TRAMI has compiled over the first 1 ½ years of implementation. He argues for a long shot and a change in administrative capacities to handle this new type of policy approach.

  • Report on the fifth EMiN Meeting

    The 5th meeting of the European Mission Network (EMiN) took place virtually on the 5th of July 2023. With the primary focus on citizen engagement, this two-hour session further explored the implementation of the mission approach. The format “Meet and Monitor the Missions” was also featured during the meeting. Over 60 stakeholders from various organizations took part in this enlightening discussion.

  • Assessment of Horizon Europe after 2 years

    After two years of EU missions, progress and the way forward is assessed by different actors.

    The European Commission has published a document on communikation from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions.

    ERRIN has published a paper about its input to the public consultation.

    And Germany has published a paper about their contribution to the evaluation of the EU Missions.
